Mother’s Day is right around the corner! Why not treat her to a delicious brunch?

One of the best things about brunch is the absolutely scrumptious drinks – whether you’re a cocktail, mocktail, or coffee fan. Show your love this year through a fancy-pants beverage (without having to buy a million new gadgets)! Check out the following drink menu for some yummy recipes and inspiration:

Sherbet Mimosa

Sherbert Mimosa

Scrumptious and sweet, sherbert mimosas are the perfect addition to Mother’s Day Brunch!

Ingredients: Sherbert of choice | vodka of choice | champagne | fresh fruit for garnish

Instructions: Put a few small scoops of sorbet into your glass and add a splash of vodka. Fill glass with champagne and top your drink with fresh fruit garnish! (Note: use sorbet for a dairy-free option!)

Tasty Suggestions:

  1. Citrus Queen: Lemon sherbet + clementine vodka + orange garnish on glass
  2. Memory Lane: Vanilla sherbet + cherry vodka + halved cherries for garnish
  3. Pink Lemonade: Lemon sherbet + strawberry vodka + raspberries for garnish
  4. Mocktail Option: Sherbet of choice + 7Up + fruit garnish

Grapefruit Fizzer

Grapefruit Fizz

Not too sweet and featuring favorite herbs, this fizzy drink will keep things light and bubbly.

Ingredients: Grapefruit juice | agave nectar | fresh rosemary | fresh thyme | vodka | seltzer or club soda

Instructions: In a saucepan combine 1 and 2/3 cups grapefruit juice, 2/3 cup agave nectar, 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary, and 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme. Place over medium heat and cover. Bring to a boil for ten minutes. It should get to a syrup consistency. Place syrup in glass jar with lid and put in the refrigerator.

Place syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and 2 oz vodka. Pour into a glass and add grapefruit seltzer or club soda of your choice!

Spicy Momma Mocktail

Spicy Mocktail

For mothers who love a bit of spice, the jalapeño in this recipe is a welcome hint of heat. Want to make it a cocktail? Add a splash of your favorite white rum!

Ingredients: Limes | oranges | jalapeños | sugar | salt | club soda

Instructions: Juice 4 limes and 6 naval oranges. (Approximately 3/4 cup lime juice, 1 and 1/4 cups orange juice.) Cut half of the orange rinds into quarters and place in a saucepan.

Chop one jalapeño. Add to orange rinds. Add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp salt. Muddle with dowel-style rolling pin or muddler until salt and sugar are dissolved (3 mins). Stir in 1 cup of warm water and let sit 10 minutes to an hour.

Strain mixture, pressing down to release all the juice into a pitcher. Slice another orange and add to pitcher. Slice one jalapeño, remove seeds, and add to pitcher. Pour about two ounces into each glass and add club soda to fill.

Caramel Iced Coffee

The perfect choice for families who have a hereditary sweet tooth, this café-inspired caramel coffee is sure to delight!

Ingredients: Milk | caramel sauce | brown sugar | hot coffee | whipped cream

Instructions: In a saucepan, combine 1 cup milk, 1/4 cup caramel sauce, and 1 tsp brown sugar. Put over medium heat 4-5 minutes until foamy. Whisk regularly.

Divide hot coffee between two mugs. Divide milk mixture between mugs. Stir. Add a swirl of whipped cream and drizzle on extra caramel sauce.

White Chocolate Cold Brew

Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Pair this cold coffee with a warm hug – a winning Mother’s Day combination!

Ingredients: Cold brew (store-bought is fine!) | white chocolate sauce | milk | whipped cream | ice

Instructions: Mix 1/4 cup cold brew and 2 tbsp white chocolate sauce. Add milk and ice. Top with whipped cream and drizzle additional chocolate sauce.
