Summer is one of the best times of year because there is so much to celebrate! However, up until recently I didn’t realize just how manyfun holidays we have every single month! Pull out your calendar, because this month’s shopping list focuses on all the ways we can enjoy more celebrations in our lives.
Brunch Set -Every time my friends and I plan a girls’ weekend, we always grab brunch before going our separate ways on Sunday. To celebrate National Girlfriends Day (August 1st), I’ll be gathering the gals for a brunch date in! This brunch set will help you create the perfect setup and show the ladies in your life how much they mean to you.
Dark Chocolate Cube Candle -August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! Even if you don’t have time to whip up a batch of cookies (though I highly recommend it!), you can still celebrate by enjoying the mouthwatering scent of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies with this Dark Chocolate Cube Candle. It seriously smells like the real thing and will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
Spiegelau Beer Tulip Glass Set -Cheers to International Beer Day! On the first Friday in August, you can celebrate in style with these chic beer glasses. Tulip glasses are perfect for stronger brews like double IPAs, saisons, and both wild and sour ales.
Stainless Steel Steak Knife Set -I love a good steak, so I’m very excited for August 13th, National Filet Mignon Day. I cook steak all the time at home, and for so long I put off buying a set of quality steak knives. However, I eventually decided it was time to stop hacking away at my food with a dull kitchen knife (an action that resulted in red wine all over my area rug) and buy some real knives. Now, these stainless-steel beauties cut through my steak with ease. Trust me, they’ll elevate your meal to the next level.
Buddha Head Serenity Oil Warmer -August 15th is National Relaxation Day, and I am readyfor this one! I love adding relaxing elements to my space that contribute a sense of tranquility, and this Buddha Head Serenity oil warmer is a perfect example. I love having it diffuse relaxing scents while I take a nice, long bath (with a nice, large glass of wine).
Waffle Weave Turkish Towel -While August 24th is National Waffle Day (of the breakfast food variety), I wanted to list these Waffle Weave Turkish Towels in this month’s list (of the incredibly fast-drying variety). Seriously, I’m not sure how I ever used terry towels. These Waffle Weave towels are not only gorgeous (the texture adds so much to my space!), but they also are super lightweight and versatile, making them great travel towels, beach blankets, and picnic blankets.
Radiant Drinking Glasses -I’m not a huge bourbon person, but I do love a good whiskey sour, which means I’ll definitely be celebrating National Whiskey Sour Day on August 25th! I love using these Radiant Drinking Glasses for mixed drinks because their unique shape lets you see all the colors and flavors in your cocktail treat.
Plant Hangers |August 26th is National Dog Day! This year, why not add something to your home that looks great and protects your furry best friend? While greenery can add some much-needed energy and air purification to our homes, a lot of plants are actually toxic to pets. Get the best of both worlds by keeping plants high out of reach! These braided jute plant hangers perfectly cradle plant pots and can be easily put up anywhere in the house!
Floating Wine Bottle Holder |Are you ready to celebrate National Red Wine Day on August 28th? I know I am! I already have my kitchen stocked thanks to this Floating Wine Bottle Holder. It’s a fun way to store wine while showing off its gorgeous hues.
Savar Everything Basket |I love eating outdoors, which is why I’ll be celebrating Eat Outside Day every day of August (not just the 31st!). However, eating outdoors can be difficult when it comes to moving everything from the kitchen to the patio – or to your favorite picnic spot! That’s why I love this Savar Everything Basket. It has little inserts that let you keep food, utensils, and more in their own sections while still keeping things easy to carry. It’s my #1 recommendation for people who like to enjoy meals outside or on-the-go.
