3 Festive Holiday Beverages

November 26, 2020 2 min read

If you’re anything like me, you’re wishing life could go back to normal so you can have your friends over for game night! There are few things I love more than a theme party.

This year, when we celebrated Halloween, obviously there was a signature drink, matching “horror in this house” shirts, andway too many apples. (Not to worry, we took COVID tests before hanging out to make sure everyone was good to go.)

My favorite game that night you ask? Blank Slate, a game where you try to guess what the other players are thinking. I killed it. ☺

As you plan for the holidays, regardless of what they look like, add a more festive air (I think we could all use a little extra of everything in 2020) and try one of these cocktails (or mocktails) as your signature drink.

For a night with your sweetheart, a pre covid-tested Christmas celebration, even a friends or family zoom night! Let’s make the most of this weird time, and what a fun way to do that with specially formulated fancy drinks (that are actually quite simple) that we don’t have all the time.

I found these three delicious concoctions over atA Couple Cooks where Sonja and Alex, authors ofPretty Simple Cooking, who support “sustainable eating to improve our health, communities, and planet.” They have been featured in Oprah, Food & Wine, Huffington Post, and write a series for Washington Post Food. Cheers!
