May Summer Favorites

May 21, 2021 3 min read

Summer is on the way, and I’m ready to soak in the sunshine! Nowadays, I can’t wait to wake up and throw open the curtains and blinds and let all that natural light flood my living room! I hope you’re just as excited as I am to get out into the fresh air, and maybe pack a picnic or spend some time at the beach.

I’ve certainly been stocking up on some of my favorite summer must-haves, and I’ll be sharing the best of the best in this May Shopping List!

Seafoam Green Oversized Blanket

If you’ve spent some time perusing the blog, you’ve probably picked up on the fact that I LOVE neutrals. But this seafoam green oversized blanket might just change my tune. Gorgeously bright, the color of this blanket is so incredibly fresh and inviting, I’m planning on grabbing another one soon for my guest room! This blanket is made of 100% bamboo, which is why I love it for summer – bamboo blankets definitely keep you warm in the winter, but because bamboo is thermal-regulating, it keeps you cool in the summer as well.

The HAT Wine Cooler

This little beauty is perfect for at-home décor or an on-the-go picnic. The HAT wine cooler keeps your bottle looking stylish while maintaining the perfect temperature with top-notch materials. Choose between their black or black and white speckled designs.

Rumi Concrete Coasters

Nothing says “summer” like a glass of ice-cold lemonade. The only problem? Our favorite glassware sweats like crazy during the summer. I like to protect my furniture with sturdy coasters I can trust, which is why I love these gorgeous Rumi concrete coasters. They hold up against water and even have a little lip on them to help prevent spills. They’re perfect for outdoor use!

Sea Salt Scented Candle

Bring the seaside to your home or gift it to a friend with your new favorite candle. Made in small batches with lead-free wicks, these pure soy candles feature hints of sea salt, wood, and jasmine, as well as up to seventy hours of burn time!

I’m Soy Into You Kitchen Wall Art

I love summer for so many reasons: time outside with family and friends, flouncy sundresses, and lots of fun hats (remember your SPF!). In my opinion, summer is a time of playfulness! That’s why I love the “I’m Soy Into You” canvas kitchen wall art. What can I say? Puns crack me up…and they make the perfect décor. Check out a few of the companion prints here, here, and here!

Ula Blue Foldable Basket

I am in love with this piece. Hand-made, fair trade, and made from seagrass and soft jute yarn, this foldable basket is where I put all my miscellaneous items to keep my space looking effortless and clutter-free. However, it makes a great plant cover as well!

Micro-Cotton Smart Towel

Honestly, I’m not sure how I lived without one. These micro-cotton smart towels can seriously do it all. It absorbs faster than microfiber and doesn’t end up chock-full of sand, even after a full day on the beach. Pack it in a hiking bag, take it to yoga, dry off after a bath, use it as a tablecloth, or don it as a coverup at the beach. This lightweight beauty is made of chemical-free, vegan fibers and comes in a variety of colors.

Lanadown Dryer Balls

Psst! This one’s for that pile of laundry! This set of three super-soft dryer balls speeds up the drying process to keep your home energy efficient during the summer while we’re all blasting the AC.

Rustic Triple Planter Stand

Here’s one for all my farmhouse-vibe lovers! With weathered wood and a rustic finish, this pretty little planter stand is ideal for your summertime plants, whether you’re going for bursting bouquets or need a little hideaway for your growing herb garden.
